say hi to stressful korean books.

i get very stressed reading CHO SE HEE's

"A Ball Shot by a Midget"

i read this when i was in grade 5 and got VERY stressed.

and i was talking about this with my boyfriend

and we were like....gosh this book is the most

amazing korean novel ...very politicial and very very ...amazing

the book is based in 1970's korea, where we just finished war and

we went through a phase of poverty, culture shocks, communism VS capitalism,

american soliders bullying koreans, new rising bourgeois class who bought all the

land for shit little money from lying and stealing from the poor,

and got into real estates (they are still most the bourgeois of seoul.)

massive changes, dictatorship....new ideals, confusion

hate towards rich has developed since then i think, cos in korea our

modern history is very short

(THANKS TO THE INVOLVEMENT OF JAPANESE AND AMERICAN GOV AND FUCKING WAR)

although our history is very long (i think about 4500 years...)

our modern history is so short, and there was a massive change.

i even remember when i was born, south korea was kind of thrid world country,

and when i was in school we were "developing country" and now we are a

"developed country". massive fast changes took place, and i get so stressed

reading this book, cos i know this was in the 70's but the stories still

apply to our modern histroy .

IF YOU ARE A KOREAN KID i think you should really stop watching haha hee hee

comedy show programs on TV and stop idolizing young idol boy bands and

start READING.

stop getting numb from getting swept by the media and make your own decisions

stop looking at the advertisements where they say "you are the one"

you are not the one.

say bye to jindo.

i went to my friends studio

and i went there the day before too, and the house next door

had a dog we kinda called jindo, since it is the most

suitable dog name for a jindo dog.

and the dog is very stressed

jindo always barks and makes me and my friend very nervous.

and i went there and the house became like this.

say hi to video works

i should say thank you to my manager in korea first and also
for my carelessness because i forgot i had agreed to do this
interview since 2 months ago regarding my art work. i honestly
feel kind of shy to present this or do interviews about my work
cos i kind of feel pressure, because i didnt really do anything
and also because of criticisms like "she did her exhibition cos of her publicity"
and i certainly dont want it to be that way and also i think
i still need some time to develop strong work... but anyway
thank you to rush rush interview and i finally arranged/cleaned up
my work stuff... so i hope you enjoy it.

say bye to steve aoki and cut chemist

btw i returned to seoul 3 days ago.

last night there was a party, at W hotel

it was steve aoki dj-ing

and deven aoki was suppose to come or something,

i have no idea WHY i went (only cos of Xin and hyo jin)

but i seriously it told me again WHY i dont go to parties

CUT CHEMIST SUCKS

seriously this scrawny little white guy was djing some really lame

and seriously OLD song and like he kept on saying "YO ! SEOUL! TO ALL THE PEOPLE

WHO DONT SPEAK ENGLISH" and also "WORD!" "WORD!"

so.....ignorant and fucking annoying

hey, are you black? are you black?

why do you steal other race's culture?

you think your cool?

also you think your cool dissing people who dont speak english?

in korea, almost everybody speaks english, they can understand but we are shy

so we dont reply, but in normal schools teach english anyway

EVERYBODY KNOWS WHEN U SAY "DONT SPEAK ENGLISH"

and steve aoki djing sucks.

it was just BAAAAD

you playing songs i was dancing to in london more than 1 year ago

and mixed even badley

this party was really overated and the club atmoshere was so boring

the dj-s probably dont have eye sight cos no one was dancing

and i even fell asleep at one point

cry cry cry

eeeeee

i always like prada mens alot i would wear it alot

but FW 08 men was quite... experimental but i dont like it.

anyway

prada sometimes i dont like it, but this season

i really like it

and i REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS ONE

this photo doesnt do it justice
its black lace pants +top...perhaps jumpsuit?

so coooooool

BUT MY FAV IS MENS SS08

HOW NICE and tasteful! i hate guys who wear suits like flasshy shiny shit

i want this so bad

i would wear this but i would hate it if a guy wore it.

i think its so much nicer when young people dress more classic

and when it comes to mens wear, i know, experimental is good but still

it would be nice to stick to the classics.

same for women.

say hi to never giving up minimal electronica

i really cant give up one genre of music
ive been loving it since i was 13

i sometimes feel like why do i love fucking
junkie music

i can live without any type of music but i cant
live without minimal electro / techno

it is DIFFERENT from electro clash/ trance etc

kind of trancy- but usually its faster than progressive
but its more high taste/ high sound effect / bass
than trance and seriously i hate elctro clash

i am hooked on

Claude von stroke, Leslzmor overview compo, tiefswartz,I Go Deep [Original Mix] by Jim Rivers , adam beyer, bruno pronsato etc

my fav minimal electro album is komapkt total 7

its from like 2~3 years ago? but throughout the years i like this album alot

because usually minimal electro can be quite down like

makes u feel down or kind of too druggy so u feel like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

but kompakt total 7 is more light, so its not so down, but not so up as well

so good for everyday use, minimal is very good when you want to

space out or focus on something without listening too much to the lyrics obvious

sounds. minimal is great because the sound composition is quite odd and interestingly

adjusted, its not trendy or annoying so i like it

its great for spacing out and in the car/ traveling / painting/ working

GREAT for good hifi system i feel...

i thank my papa (he is hifi-stereo mania)

for teaching me to differenciate good audio and bad audios...

and also for amazing speakers from rogers yaho! cant wait till i go back.
