It is really upsetting to see that london fashion week scene gives pressures
to designers to create hype so people behave really bad sometimes.

there are ways to do things with less hype by focusing more into the esthetic and
have patience to the collection every season ...
more long-term basis creating a designer's signature style


doing this in an elegant way is important.

i personally know and worked and followed erika's work for a very long time,
and if u see her work of past decade at i-D , you can clearly see that
she uses the MOST diverse cast, ethnic, asian, black, mixed, plus size, etc...

Sometimes, when designers work with stylists and casting directors
things take time to be prepared and last minute changes of cast does not work.

Real talent shines through hype. and sometimes it takes longer but talent is talent.
there is no reason to behave in an insecure way and attack someone who is respectable
like erika.

it is very very wrong to use provocative press like this on someone who has represented
for the diversity in fashion for the longest time.

im very sad to see such a talented designer to be pressured by media and hype and loose elegance.
