i was there from april 30th till may 2nd
i was unfortunately there
during labour day
OKAY IN KOREA ON LABOUR DAY PPL GO SHOPPING OR VISIT FAMILY OR EAT FOOD.
got really....scared by berlin + german people on that day
i guess..its not normally like that
but first time in my life....i was like
......"is this end of the world...?"
wow.....
german ppl are hard...core.....
i kinda...grew up in super safe singapore....
... confession, i kinda grew up as a retard prep-school girl
sometimes i made dangerous friends but..still... was kinda boring
i had so many german friends when i was in school and they were really laid back and cool
but they werent from berlin.....
i always had this romantic idea about berlin, being like....a bigger version of antwerp
ppl being cool like how my friends were like and their parents were so cool
i was like yeah land of minimal tech!! LETS GO!!!!! THESE PPL WILL UNDERSTAND ME!
but then it was like... hell on earth
scary drunk people yelling at me...omg i havent seen so many cyber punk+goth+drunk+skinheads+cheesy+cool
people...in one... place... all kinda mania-looking people
congested in one place... in my life
it was kind of shocking
when i saw this man with half of his face bleeding... in the train station
i was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
i think its great how berlin is so diverse and kinda open-minded
but.... 1st of may.....
was scary for me
maybe next time i will see REAL berlin....! i wanna go Cologne

haha, aw. labour day is kinda like that in germany/switzerland/france....i first thought there were no violent actions this time in zurich, but oh well, guess there won't ever be any labour day without it.
No need to be scared. I thought you played great music at wood wood.
Definitely come back during a more normal time though. I'm sure you are going to have a much nicer time here then.. especially if you like techno and house.
I'm extremely sorry you have such a bad first impression of Berlin, because seriously, it's not like this all the time but a really cool city to hang out in. I would know. Anyway, come back another time and enjoy it! Promise me! I'd be heartbroken if you leave with bad memories of Berlin and never going to rectify them.
Hahaha, thank you for making me laugh. Berlin isn't all that hardcore. Just don't go to Kreuzberg on 1st of May. If you scared like a little kittycat, avoid this area. But - Berlin is a beautiful place with lovely people. Don't be such a sniveller.
aw, next time you should visit munich. :)
try hamburg. best city in all of germany.
I think you probably got a very strange look at Berlin when you were here... probably a bit too shuffled. And the breakfast wait was obscene (I'm never going back there).

aww. You sound so disturbed. I swear Berlin isn't like that all the time. You should come hang in the summer. It's lovely in august and the people don't always walk around covered in blood :)
sorry to tell you but berlin is shit.you should go to hamburg (lot of drunk/homeless ppl though) or cologne or duesseldorf.
i'm sorry for that nightmare.hopefully you will have a better stay in germany next time.
You were a beautiful soul so I still read your blog even though I know you're gone. It makes me so sad to see you were in so much pain. I live in Asia and understand the social pressure you must have felt. I hope your legacy continues becuase you were a sensitive and unique girl.xxx
