Unloved (2001)

won cannes award in 2001.....

i saw this movie at seoul art cinema (cinemateque)

and i remember this movie was so beautiful and strong.

to remain as oneself, is the main theme of this movie

there are 3 characters, matusuko and two other guys

who are afflicted with her.....

this movie focuses how matsuko is a "strong" women

there fore "unloved" .



and i so agree with matsuko...

this 8mm movie shows the characters emotions/feelings

in a very silent way. truely beautiful. truely unique and strong

yet has so much depth effortlessly.

its so hard to find movies like this nowadays
